Silas Falokun

Dr. Silas Falokun is an adjunct professor of business studies at Alvin Community College, Alvin.  He received his B.A. (Ed) from the University of Ilorin and a master’s degree (M.B.A) from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. In 2016, Dr. Falokun received his doctoral degree from Grand Canyon University, Phoenix, AZ.  His previous professional experience includes the various mid- and top-level management positions in private and public organizations in Nigeria and the United States.  After his ten years of services (three of these as a supervisor) at Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Dr. Falokun worked as special and regular education teacher in two public schools in Texas. He is a full-time behavior intervention instructor in a prison school and a state-approved provider of drug offender education program. Dr. Falokun operates online drug and behavior intervention classes. An astute educationist and intermittent contributor to vital issues on a local radio, Dr. Falokun loves to write and publish short fiction books for children and teach in his church.
